People still needing lifts:
None!
Strings will take...
Ru
Phizz
Bluepixie
Yegadoyai
gor will take...
Mogwai
GingerPrinz
TK-Maximus (Maule Drive)
Jan will take...
Greasel_burger (Ayrshire) - sorted
noodle (Paisley Road West)
Octavion (Cresswell Steet) - Lift needed for computer only.
Fyndir (Lancefield Quay) - just needs a lift home
Could the drivers pick some people that they can take?

Possibly some route suggestions would be helpful? Like, from places I know: a circuit of GingerPrinz->TK-Maximus->Mogwai->Bluepixie+Yega would be fairly straightforward (assuming the last two put their computers in and walked the 50 yds to the qm)

Yeah good idea - I assumed people knew the West End fairly well. Once the remaining people add their locations I'd list some possible routes.

Gingerprinz is indeed in Finnieston, cheers.

I, as it stands currently, will not need transport as a friend of mine has agreed to drive me, if anyone needs a ride from the maryhill area let me know :)

Well I usually get a lift from either Strings or Jan and they know where I live. If they want to confirm or deny whether they can pick me up this time that would be great. :)

hey guys,
I am needing a lift to/from the lan this weekend.
I stay at Paisley Road West (G51 1NB) just opposite the District Bar.
Just a note, my monitor is a 19" CRT and my PC has a reservator (Zalman watercooling thingy.) So I do need a bit of space! :P

Cool - I've updated the first post. Is that the end nearer the Broomielaw?

I can take one car full saturday morning
I've already offered larry a lift, so thats one less for strings. larry no doubt knows where dave (gingerprinz) stays; so a larry - dave route might make sense. One other in that direction and that'll make my load. (3rd will probably need to an dwarf to fit in the back)

yeah, the broomielaw end of Paisley Road West, just near the squinty bridge.

Assuming Dave lives where i think he does, a Larry-Dave Route goes close to my house, so I would assume that I'd be the best option to pickup? [/hopeful]
I'm pleased to say that my Gigantic CRT has been replaced with a folding flatscreen, so space should hopefully be fine...

Does Dopey know about this thread? Will try also, but if you see him on MSN or something.. tell him it shouldn't be too hard to decide who else to take heh.

To clear up all confusion about my whereabouts, I live beside McDonalds, across the road from PC World.

Yeah, you're like five minutes from me, if that, I'm down right on the river.
Sideshow could also have my old TFT, the one that I usually bring to the LANs....except it's utter shit and he probably wouldn't want it. =D

Jan: I assume you're probably taking Greasel_burger, yeah? Don't suppose you'd be able to take anyone else, too?

DISASTER! One of my mates is having a leetle crisis just now and I'm gonna have to help her out for a bit at the weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to make it along for some of the LAN (I'll arrange my own transport) but I must sadly withdraw from the CS tourney (sorry Peter and Pit, although I gather Larry's looking for teammates:P). Hope you guys have a great one and I see you at some point.
