Should BF2 kills be ranked?

i.e. Plane vs grunt = .1 kill while

grunt vs plane = 5 (with grenade not m82)

or distance you kill someone with sniper rifle increases score from base of 50yards = .2

this would limit the appeal of using the helo or planes to take out individual grunts and focus them on what they are meant to be doing.

where as it would not STOP them from taking out a grunt that is holding a law or whatever.

Running your own team over should be a instantly kickable offence.

But what if you run someone over accidentally? What then? How can you tell the diference?

I agree with the idea of proper scoring for kills. For example. I was an engineer earlier and was commanding a squad. This SOB sniper had us pinned down. So, I told my team to hold their position, while I sneaked round to his hidding spot. At which point, I gutted him like a fish. :D

But I only get one kill for that. Just the same as some lame jumping assault boy with his grenade launcher. Same someone spawn camping with a tank.
