Well I don't even used iTunes and iPhone sounds like the same kind of thing that is a not so nice idea of apple control another market so I'll pass. I'll stick to Skype tyvm.

Where is this slide out keyboard that’s been rumoured?
Im sticking with my designer plastic cup and string until an iphone has as many uses as the former.

Why would you want a slide out keyboard when you can have whatever keyboard you want on the screen?

It does look like a complete beast of a phone

I still can't see why they're calling it revolutionary. It's just a PDA that they're calling a phone.
YegaDoyai
10th January 2007, 13:55
because they want to charge huge sums of money

Of course, how stupid of me.
Also, I don't want OS X and iPods anywhere near my phone.

here's me laughing (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6250511.stm).
That was so stupid and predictable, why do people think they're clever?

not just that but you could argue that the i<name> brand belongs to apple therefore for someone else to use that term is trying to cash in on an existing brand. Fortunately Apple aren't being dicks about it.

No, you couldn't.

Seeing the apple iPhone page, the phone looks /fantastic/. Unfortunately, it costs about $500. I think it would be worth it though, mobile phones aren't that cheap anyway, and it does have an mp3 player etc build in.
Watch out for some in Q4 2007.

No, you couldn't.
You could, but there's no way you could get it to hold up in court

You could
In very much the same way you COULD argue Hitler was a really lovely guy, or you COULD take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut, or monkeys COULD fly out of your butt...
Once I googled "I-Prod" at work looking for an amusing Rangers-based joke my flatmate told me about. So at the time the first site that came up was www.iprod.net (NSFW, and down now anyway). Little unsuspecting me got some glares from IS later in the day as I had to explain to them why I had "stumbled upon" a site advertising the "i-Prod" - a butt plug......

Well yeh, because they are specifically using "iPhone".
Ru's point is that not much could and will be done about having stuff with "i" in front of it.

It's almost like you think I didn't know the link had already been posted.
I knew it was already in the thread, and thought that it was worth reposting.
