If you just bought it, Im sure your machine wouldn't have too many complaints. However, running it is were it gets messy. What's you spec again?

Sounds like it's your graphics that's holding everything up. Wait till ATI bring out the R520 later this year, graphics cards will plumet in price. Alternatively, try ebay. I hear there are bargains to be had there :)

Yeah, that should be fine apart from the graphics card. Were you not going to pick up a 6800 like Dave's? The SE is it not? Failing that, how about a 6600 GT like mine? Price has dropped a bit since I bought it. Can get cheaper ones than the BFG too, the MSI one is ment to be damn good and is good for OC.

yes but the x700 is poo. the pro is not poo, but the non pro is poo.

just though i'd get that out there.

The reason for this is that the pro vesion had such poor yeild that the XT cores were used meaning (like mine) the pro cards clock to XT or better values. Also why you can no longer get your hands on an XT version.
