Hi guys,
As I'm sure you've all noticed, the next event is now up in the Events Page (http://www.pausegaming.com/forum/showthread.php?t=660) so you can sign up there.
As well as the Halloween theme for the LAN we have also tightened up the actual game organisation for this LAN. There shall be more structured gaming events both for prizes and for fun, and the server shall be administrated adamantly.
Please, if you have any questions/suggestions regarding the LAN please post here.
Cheers,
Niall

squad IN AMERICA is now accepting sign-ups for the upcoming battlefield2 events at the next LAN. 2nd lieutenant m0gw4i will be your gracious squad leader, and i figure if we make it official now, noone can complain where IN AMERICA contines their fine tradition of domination. medics and AT troops welcome.

IN AMERICA would be amusing yes, but ultimately no fun for anybody not in the squad.
The plan (for the main big game anyway) is as follows:
Commanders are elected
Commanders then select experienced squad leaders (no. depends on attendance)
Squad Leaders then select squad members with approval of the Commander.
Teams then separate into different parts of the room to discuss tactics.
Game setup would be pretty standard, with two rounds. Prizes go to the whole team.
I think it will be good fun and make a more intense game. Having most of the experienced players on one side makes for a blood bath, which is boring for them and intensely frustrating for the other team.
This would just be for the competitive game, we can have other less constructed games as well, we're IN AMERICA can do as they wish......for example,
IN AMERICA vs. Everyone Else :p
For that I’ll join your squad, with trusty G3 in hand.

Quote of the month. I think I'll put it in my sig.
On a seperate note, I would like one game of Dungeon Keeper at the LAN.

I seem to remember that I had serious issues with getting Dungeon Keeper to run....I'll see if I can work out if it's something stupid or if it's a real problem. =P
