There's a new site tool to use - daily posts. Right along there with the "view unread posts" button.

Also, for admins, there is a "list all forums" with permissions of them all on one page. Thankfully, I'll no longer have to trawl through the entire list of 11 or so fora to find the one permission that's letting spambots through.
There's also a "last 50 posts" page, in case you've been away longer than that.
