Yeah, we're getting some CAT6 and some shiny new network cards as well. Along with some other goodies. :)

Ive got some spare cat6 and connectors, if you have a crimp tool? i got a *little* too much when i was making my network (as in 10-20m). Id bring the whole thing to the lan, but its laid under the carpet around half my flat.

Nice switches.

Cat 5 is fine. Cat 6 is better quality and I'd buy it over cat 5 if you're getting new stuff but with the budget being thin as it is, I wouldn't go out replacing perfectly fine cat 5 cable.
