Thoughts on the next lan

Now, I know that this might be better in the Lan chat but most folk look in the forum as a matter of corse so here it is.

In june, are we having a LAN? If so, are we going to get any advertising etc. If not, are we gonna get one in before all you stoodents leave for summer.

Probably should start advertising aye. But come hell or shine, I'm LANing in June. Even if it's just me sitting in the Williams room, shouting at myself.

Then we gots the whole summer to think of how to indoctrinate as many first years at the freshers fayre as possible.

I'll set up the video cameras, the rest of us go somewhere else, watch Strings screaming at himself on someone's computer. =D


Otherwise:

LAN in June = Fyndir.

LAN in July = No Fyndir.


So a June one would be nice. =)

The last time we tried to host a lasn just after the exams, it was n't well attended, only 8 or so people turned up -- about the same as the last lan, actually.

If you want a lan, we will book the hall, there's really no question about that.

When do you want a lan though, first weekend of the holidays? The uni semester (http://senate.gla.ac.uk/academic/dates0506.html) breaks up on the Friday June the 2nd, meaning the lan could happen on the 3rd and 4th.
There's the week after as well, the 10th & 11th, how many people will be moving back home on that day?
