So what's happening then? Are we:
Able to stay overnight?
Going to get sponsorship?
Going to advertise it?
Going to have one?
Thoughts for the games format:
Primary games:
DoW:WA
BF2
Secondary games:
CSS
LFS
(that's pretty much all we play anyway)
Tertiary games:
Source Forts
New games we want to try
Halo/Veitcong CTF.
If we stay beyond 1am then Hidden will make a welcome return I have no doubt.
I also want to table the motion for a little spot of retro gaming. Having watched some recent vids of Thresh doing his stuff in Quake I really want to play it again. Come on, it has the BEST nail gun EVER.

We HAVE to get a game of the reality mod, even if it's not for long.

I've sent out an email wanting to know if people actually want a lan, and stuck a poll on the forums asking if people want a lan (http://guns.snakebomb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=4233). I suspect it's going to be a yes, but it will give us an idea of numbers at the very least.
In answer to your questions:
Overnight? No. We're very unlikely to get it overnight. I've yet to hear back from the SRC about meeting them to discuss this.
Sponsorship? We decided this would be a good idea. Did anyone do anything about it? Strings was looking into Mocroplay, and he had some joy in talking to them. I've not heard any more since the lan though.
Advertise?: I think we should. Especially if it's going to be a small lan, it could boost the numbers by a few at least.
Have one? I sincerely hope so.
Cheers, Yega, you seem to be doing a great job of keeping us focused. It's been a busy time of the year for all of us, so it really is great having someone to keep track of the details.

Easy to stay focused when there is nothing to distract you. But cheers

I think you have pretty much hit the nail on the head for the games format yega. Although I'm not the biggest fan of LFS, I'm sure if I took the time to read your tips I might enjoy it more.
If that fails, prehaps you could be my Patrick Swayze and sit behind me leading me through the motions? ahem... or not... whatever.
