OK, so the web site continues it's ongoing attempts at improvement. Lately I've been integrating the various DBs (i.e. these forums, the wiki and the gallery) into the main page , which is why you can see latest posts and a pic of the day.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas for what they'd like to see on the website? Ideally, we want to get to the point where your main entry point into the GUNS site is the web page.

Looks awesome matey, great job.

Only got 2 ideas/suggestions.

Perhaps give the welcome thing a tad more presence.. somehow.

And perhaps shove in a shoutbox on the bottom left hand side. Perhaps be a nice way for new guys to say Ello.

I had thought of a shoutbox. In fact, thinking of that is what made me start this thread, for feedback. I had decided that with the forum, a shoutbox would be unnecessary, but if more people think it'd be a good idea, I'll put one on.

I'd integrate the logins for the entire site ie. forums, gallery, main site with some kind of automated members page.

I think it'd be good to publish a list of all the people who attended each lan along with a rough timetable of what games we played.

Integrating the logins would indeed be a good idea. Seems to be quite a complicated thing to do in practice though (I have looked at it). I'll have another look though - it would be nice.
Keeping a list of attendees would probably be best achieved by the treasurer, since they should have that list already.
As to games played, maybe we should have a thread, or something in the articles section, where people can review/report on their lan experience.

I've been half-heartedly looking at it too. I think this would be a good idea. There are mods for the phpbb forum boards that allow the wiki to be integrated into the forum as far as logons go. I don't think it would be a huge hastle to do this, but it may mean a bit of work for Sideshow and I :)
I have no idea about gallery integration yet.

These could all be kept track of via the wiki or the forum. Chris (Exuus) has the information of who was at the last lan, maybe we can persuade him to post this when he's able.

Do we not have a lan review thread? I thought I saw one like that in the LAN chat forum. If not, please start one. As always, the feedback in very important, and will help us to make the future lans better.

This leads me to suspect that late comers have slipped past the entry fee.

I paid too. I left the money down so don't blame me if you didn't keep a record of it.

Yes, Ming, that would be fine.

Do you mean for the previous LAN? I never saw you there!
If it's the next LAN, then that's great :)
