BF2 1.22 patch released

So, the 1.20 patch is out. You can see the release notes here (http://www.totalbf2.com/articles/article/46/3). Looks good. I went in last night and used the unlock I've been saving to get the new sniper, which appears to all intents and purposes be an M24, . Yay! Can snipe as MEC or China now :) 'Course, they've also given me 2 more unlocks, so saving one was a bit pointless... oh well. I can double unlock another class, so I suppose I should start playing something that isn't Spec Ops or Sniper. I'm thinking Medic - I hear there's a P90...

Everything we thought was going to be in it is, apart from being able to pick up C4. Interestingly, the UAV now has a physical embodiment in game, and can be shot down. Not sure how viable a tactic this is - it'll depend on how easy it is to kill.

Maybe I should have waited a day before unlocking my support unlock. Damnit.

There's an incremental patch to upgrade from 1.12 -> 1.20 . It's only 85 meg as well, instead of the brutal 350 meg of the retail -> 120 upgrade route.

Yeah, I saw your post last night - which is what prompted me to download the patch. However, since you'd posted it in the arse end of nowhere, when I came to comment on the patch this morning I couldn't easily find it. Therefor, new thread for discussing patch made. Also, this makes it show up on the front page of the website.

(though, yes, it was sort of on-topic in the other thread. I feel it's something that definitely warrants it's own, however.)

There's nothing on the official EA website. Maybe it's being a bit shit.
