Not tried the racing, have to leave it downloading when I'm at work or something.

On the subject of BF2 mods, is anyone else all giddy and excited at the prospect of a Warhammer40k BF2 mod? =D (http://www.battlefield40k.com/)

At the moment there's a BF1942 mod of the same thing (by the same people, I think) and they're working on the BF2 version.

BTW, the Battleracer mod is only 20 Mb - a very small mod for a total conversion.

I think I'll download it in a week or two, gonna wait for my new equipment (I think Overclockers might actually send it sometime soon. =O) because at the moment BF2 is a bit screwy with my machine because of the old graphics card.

Overclockers fucked us around majorly, we've finally managed to get them to ship it (we think) so it should arrive next week.

Of course, me and my dad both work all day, so I'll end up travelling to wherever they take it when they fail to deliver. =(

As it is I have my CS:S set to the lowest settings, same for most of my games.

Once the pretty graphics and extra RAM arrive, however, I shall be able to up that to medium and get a decent fps.


That went kinda off-topic of your BF2 thing, but I justify it because BF2 still doesn't run well for me atm. =P
