Right at the LAN this weekend you have to either pay in advance or pay on the door when you arrive before you set up.
No pay, no play.
Standard £5
I need to fund my biscuit addiction somehow....

I've been told by numerous friends that I'd be good at bouncer-ing / security, I figure you're all geeky wusses anyway so it'd be easy. ;)

Most rifles have a small bump/thingy on the barrel for unscoped shooting, you could sharpen that.
Or I could attach a bayonet. =P

Or, a couple of us (Niall? Peter?) could stand at the door with cardboard tubes. I'm sure Strings will attest to their use in "persuasion".

No, I call THEM two knives. =P
All I have to do is get in close and that big thing is useless.
Also given the legalities in this country mine are easier to transport discretely.

Except you'd get in way more trouble for carrying a concealed blade than for the machete.

Only if caught, the chances of being randomly searched aren't that high. =P

ok from local news near my old house. A guy walked into a bar with a katana and started attacking people. Machete probably could be concealed in a similar manner.

Still have to be able to hit me, if I get in too close you're fucked. =P

I won't dispute that, your problem will be getting close in the first place.

You swing, I dodge, machete's aren't fast, you take knife #1 to the arm and knife #2 to the chest. =P
Theoretically sound.
Might not work so well in practice though. =P

You attack with knife #1 to the arm and knife #2 to the chest. Exuus grabs the first knife out of your hand by the flat of the blade. He bullet-time backleans away from the second, spins around you and decapitates you with machete.
Theoretically sound.
Might not work so well in practice though. =P

Technically we're still discussing what would happen if I tried not to pay and Exuus and me fought over it. >_>

Oh, and Chris, I still owe you £40(ish) for paypal payments. I've got a printout too. I think I might either owe you money for stuff or GUNS owes me money for powerpoints etc. I can't remember which. If you've got 5 mins to spare, can you stop by / phone / pester the RBS to get yourself forms to add to a secretaries account? I'm a bit snowed under at the moment, and can't get there. We could even stop by on Saturday morning. They're open then.

What about a Pay-Pal link to the new GUNS account? Chris?
Exuus
2nd February 2006, 01:12
I'll see if I can wander past that way tomorrow and pick up the forms for it. I'll have to have a look through the receipts but I think the club owes you (Dave) around £40 anyway for equipment you've purchased. We'll speak about this paypal thing at the LAN.
