It does have full posting access to anyone (Even non-registered members can post) - compared to the other forums (read only until you register).

I didn't expect it to be hugely active here unless there are people who discover us for the first time and want to ask questions.

If he's editing your posts to make you look like a tit, then I would consider revoking his mod privialiges if he keeps on doing it. As the posting guidelines (http://guns.joanddave.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9) say, once is a slap on the wrist, twice is a temp ban and three times the ban is permanent.

You can also over-ride the settings by adjusting the clock in your profile up the top there.
