I've been bugging the QM folk every other day but still haven't heard back, I'm hoping to have them in the next week (so I can stick the dates on our flyers).

I expect that these dates will be the ones we get. So far I've had no indication to suggest that we wouldn't get them. It seems to be just a bit of a delay for the paperwork to go through as I think the QM people are busy preparing fresher's week stuff.

If you need to request time off work, plan your studying or tell Grandma you can't be at her birthday - now's the time!

Have we definitely got a projector?

Sid

Jan will be bringing his and hopefully Greg will bring his again next year.

That way we could have one projector for console gaming + in-game spectating and one for current LAN / tournament information.

Hey! Welcome to PauseGaming.

The events start on Saturday at around 10-11am(ish) and last until Sunday at 8-9pm. You can stay in the QM overnight on the Saturday, too.

There's free transport available if you need it, too - just sign up on the events page.

Hope to see you there.
Craig.

Minimum Age: 18 or QM-union member

QMU webpage says access allowed to any of their stuff from GUU chaps too, ?
I'm 17 so i'd need to join i suppose

Don't join the GUU. Seriously.

No matter how good it sounds during Fresher's Week, the QM is where you'll spend most of your nights out. Cheesy Pop is far better than anything the Hive comes up with.

Students from most Scottish Universities can actually enter the QM without being signed in providing they have a valid matric. card. A GUU card would be sufficient to enter the QM, however the QM will only admit an under 18 to the building if they are actaully a QM member, so I recommend joining the QMU rather than GUU - nothing great happens at the GUU anyway.

I would have thought pointing towards Chips in the West End would be a better bet. We get discounts from them, well we did.

Do we still have that running actually?

Yeah I was speaking to the guys from Chips in the QMU yesterday. Go down with your PauseGaming card or even just your Glasgow Uni card and say you're from PauseGaming and you should be fine.
