Simple. It's for interior designers so they can choose if something looks nice there, say a hole in the wall before they rip it down and go ' hey, actually that looks crap'

I saw something very similar to this. It was a guy giving a lecture on it - he had a big screen next to him (and the footage we see is the footage from that screen); he has a glove on that knows where it is, and the computer knows there's a table in front of him too. He makes a town grow on it, then a car races around, then he gets an attack helicopter and fraks it. Oh, and he makes himself a lightsaber too :)
