I r need new mouse :S

well, my beloved mouse has died, :(. the wheel is fucked up. Well iv had it for like 2 years now so it dosent owe me anything..

anyways!, yes iv decided i want a new mouse, my old one is a rip of if a logitech so its a simular shape to the G5. oh and its wireless. Il probbaly go for a wired one this time, kinda anoying when the batteries go flat etc.

It would seem the two main ones to go for are the Logitech G5 or the Razer Copperhead. but im not sure.

Any one have any sujestions or other products that are out there??

It's what your used to or willing to get used to.

If your used to the logitech shape (from your old fake mouse) then go for the G5. If you want to try something different, have a try of the Copperhead or just go flat out and buy it.

Not long ago we had an extensive discussion on new mice that you can see here (http://www.pausegaming.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1062). The upshot for me (I started the thread) was that I bought a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 (http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/119169). Yega's recommendation was between the Intellimouse and the Logitech G5 if I remember correctly, but check the thread for the detail.

Razer's Habu mouse. It looks a lot more comfortable than my diamondback.

Also, the intellimouse still kicks ass. It's very comfortable, and does the job pretty damn well, even for a 6 year old mouse.

The Logitech G5 is a fantastic mouse - I really love it. Most of the professional CSers use a MS Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 but I have no idea what it's like. Apparently the Razer DeathAdder is pretty insane, too.

Intellimouse explorer 3.0 is a great mouse, not as expensive as the G5 either, I'd heartily recommend it unless you particularly dislike mice of that shape.

The Habu is odd, intellimouse design and razor guts. I guess if you like the razor accuracy but not the feel you get the Habu, but tbh the IM 3.0 is where it is at as far as MS mice are concerned. The G5 is stunning and I think when I need to hang up my MX1000 I will look to whatever has replaced teh G5.

Of course you could just look at the fact that MS have not changed the design of thier mouse since (I think) about '98 only the internals have changed. Gota say something for the incredibly popular mouse.

lol? a full game? last time i played arma it didnt work for half the folk and looked like baws =s. people shouldn't bash BF2142 just cos theyve not tried it! as for a 'mod' of an 'ageing' game, why fix it if it aint broke???
