It's official, we are having a LAN after exams.

We shall be returning to our original home, The Williams Room, with it's shiny new interior. Previously thought out of out bounds, but a bit of sweet talking goes a long way. :p

due to my car situation im not to keen on drivin up and back down the road concidering il have to make another big journy up north to go home once im finished for the summer. but i could go home when the lan is and stop in glasgow for the weekend befor i go all the way up home. so the nerest weelend would be best i recon,

June 8th-10th is much better for me, June 1st is my birthday, so I'll be spending the day doing a sub-crawl....and the day after will likely be a write-off due to ridiculous hangover - plus by the 8th i might just have my new rig :D:D:D:D

I take it we can't get the QMU no? The Williams Room is nice enough but it has two major downsides - lack of internet and lack of being able to stay overnight (the latter doesn't really concern me tbh, the former does, what with Steam being such a bitch at times). Only just noticed the post about the venue lol

QM is closed at weekends after the 1st of June.

I'm going to ask them about internet though, so more info on that as it becomes available.

Surely we won't have a legit connection in the Williams Room? Unless they've changed the rules, we won't be allowed to use the Uni internet connection.
