Most of it seemed fairly cool and perhaps it will give people a chance to play games to their full potential without having fingers the size of thick pork sausages from muscle. lol

Might reserve judgment till I try it... my initial reaction was a clear wtf though.

Quite frankly, i'm dissapointed. This is an even wankier idea than the rumoured gyroscopic controllers. Firstly, videogames are not supposed to be a physically challenging hobby (with the exception of Track and Field lol) and I for one am less than enamoured with the idea of getting RSI/sore arms from waving a remote control around for hours on end. Secondly, it has a whole two fire buttons. Two. TWO FOR FUCKS SAKE! How in god's name are we supposed to play a game of 21st century complexity with two fire buttons? The only way would involve using complex motions with the remote to represent other actions, which would quite clearly become frustrating if either it was too hard to get the machine to recognise commands or it was too easy for one command to be mistaken for another. I very very very much hope that this is a spoof, cos if itsnot then Nintendo are gonna go the way of Sega, and that'll be a sad day.

Ok I flew off a bit quick there, having read the article in more detail it seems there will be optional additions to effectively turn this gizmo into a standard joypad. But if we can do that anyway, wtf is the point? Methinks the case will be that 3rd party publishers will not be interested in the new technology and that only Nintendo's first party titles will actually use it.....I'm scepticle (sp?) , i'll leave it at that.

It's movement sensitive, yet has a rumble function. Am I the only one who sees the problem with this?

Better not be movement sensitive... I for one like to do manly situps while playing smash brothers.

Yeah, I had a motion sensitive Mircosoft game pad, still have it. It's ment for driving games and such, but I'd like to see someone actually use it! Even the mighty YegaDoyai would have trouble with this thing! We shall see how itgoes though. You must remember that Nintendeo invented the game pad, and the analog sticks........

oh! And welcome to the forums! Enjoy your stay and hope to see you at the next LAN! :)

Yeah, I'm normally dangling from the roof bat style during Goldeneye matches.....

Ooh, racing games, I want to play one of those at the LAN.

I have toca, NFSU2, and some other things lying about the flat.

I heard rumours of the GP legends somewhere...
