Hello there fellow PC lovers. You ever bought anything from overclockers.co.uk?

Maybe think twice about doing it next time. I'm still waiting for my refund for a faulty motherboard. Been waiting since the 13th of August. What do you think? Would this letter be too harsh?

Dear sir/madam,

I have still not received my refund. I am very unhappy with this poor return process. I have been buying form your site for nearly 3 years now and have always been impressed by the speed, efficacy, and customer service you have provided but this is truly disgraceful. The faulty item was received by your returns department well over a month ago now.
Having worked in retail, I have first hand experience of the difficulty in dealing with such things. I sympathize with you reader, this situation is not your fault.
However, make no mistake; if this situation is not resolved your name will be mud. I have many friends all over the UK that buy from your site, via word of mouth and the many forums I frequent I shall have your name tarred.

Regards,
Niall Macdonald

Well, it's been sent. I just very pissed off. And if they give a damn about any of their customers, then they will sort it out. By law they have to give me my money back anyway. So....

Ive had shit service from them recently, aswell. I signed up to their forums specifically to give them shit (since my problems didnt meet the requirements for a webnote) and eventually got a response by emailing my mum a letter with my email address on that she then faxed to them. their phones have been down for a couple of months cos they are allegedly installing a new switchboard. if you do manage to get through, you get something that sounds like a modem and is absolutely fuck-all use to anyone, rather like their customer service team. i managed to get through to their alleged switchboard maybe 4 times in 2 weeks of sitting with the phone next to my computer hitting the redial button every time it rang out.

Its a shame. they used to be good, but now they are going the way of the overclocking store.

I find the forums really useful actually... good bunch of guys mainly.

Just keep webnoting them or phoning them mate.. not much else you can do. Unless you go down their and stick an AWP up their ass.
